One of the essential pieces to the Switchblade system is the Assault Pack. This is our classic ruck size and at under 8 lbs with frameset and around 3,800 cubic inches in volume, it is an attractive balance of capability and weight. High-end materials like kevlar reinforced abrasion points, waterproof zippers, the carbon-fiber CHIEF framesheet, and Cordura™ fabrics make this pack a dynamic and durable tool for the modern warfighter.

Revised rear panel with improved ergonomics, improved rear zipper for comms and hydration, additional attachment points and improved durability and construction
Pack collar updated to increase durability with additional compression
Bottom haul handle
Revised rear side pocket that increases overall volume of pocket with interior and exterior access points.
Redesigned front access panel along with additional attachment points, locations for cable routing and external compression straps.

Assault Pack or Rucksack

I bought this bag to use instead of my issued Ruck... its perfect. Multiple storage options, and fully adjustable. The front zip access allows for entry without having to pull all my gear out. The wrap around top portion is helps to hold random gear on without worrying it will slide off. Overall the size is perfect. Everyone continuously asks about the pack every time we are in the field.
